1. Do I have to use a water pump if the ESC is air-cooled?

This ESC is splash waterproof. It need water pump for cooling. Here is waterpump link: 12V 30W water pump and DC-DC module for electric surfboard efoil electric boat ESCs/Motors  (when use water pump, please make sure test water tubes and no leaking before mount it into your board.)

Default firmware is without throttle calibraiton, which is compatible with Maytech remote (1-2ms throttle signal range)

For new users, recommend following 2 Options:

1. MT300A-OPTO-SF + UBEC-75V + Progcard: If you use the controller with motor that is not from Maytech, please choose this option, the motor can be programmable; Or if you use the ESC with maytech motor and you want to adjust parameters, you can choose this option. 

2. MT300A-OPTO-SF + Progcard: If you don't need the UBEC, you can choose this option.
